Kenny Chesney wants a company to stop using his logo to sell their merchandise, and he's going to court to do it.

Nashville's "Tennessean" says the country star has been at odds with T&M Enterprises.  Chesney claims the company has been selling a number of clothing items using his trademarked guitar and palm tree image without permission.

Chesney's spokesman says the singer thought they had "an equitable settlement in place" last January, which required T&M to stop producing the items but allowed the company to sell the remainder of its stock.  But the rep says they eventually realized that T&M "had no intention of honoring the agreement," so they were "forced into taking further legal action."

In his suit Chesney is asking a judge to force T&M to discontinue production of merchandise and to award him damages.
